Neshama Hospice Forest Landscape

Description

The layering of primarily native vegetation in this densely planted landscape aims to connect patients, family, and staff of a 12-bedroom hospice to the familiar. We strive to provide hospice patients and those supporting them, with a direct connection to the sensory complexity of the natural world. These “forest’ gardens are designed to offer opportunities to both gather in a healing outdoor environment along with spaces for those who seek privacy in the 12 private woodland gardens.
